About the Venue
The Jolly Sailor Inn sits in the heart of West Looe, in Princes Square. Traditionally referred to as a smugglers’ haunt, folklore and shanty’s tell many a tale of Smuggling, Press Ganging and Crimping (the practice of kidnapping people to serve as sailors by coercive techniques such as trickery, intimidation, or violence).
There’s no surprise the Jolly comes with tales of paranormal activity and mysteries. No spoilers! The Jolly Sailor Inn as you see it today is formed from two buildings, now joined together – The old pub built around 1516 and 1800’s Glendale, which became part of The Jolly in the 1930's. Each area experiences Ghostly Paranormal activity.
Notable features of The Jolly include old beams salvaged from 1588 Spanish Armada, and the main timber beam from HMS Indefatigable.

Location
The Jolly Sailor is located in the heart of West Looe. Follow the West Looe quayside, then turn into Prince's Square, located behind and beside the West Looe fire station.
Parking can be found along the quayside itself or in the larger Millpool carpark, a 5 min walk away. Street parking is Very Limited near the pub and so best avoided for the event.
